At the Hotel Anigglhof, we follow in the footsteps of our ancestors and their traditions. Their life and work shape our values and our actions as hosts, entrepreneurs, and a family.
For us, the most important values are time and love. Honour stands the test of time, which can be observed through the many decades of artful craftsmanship. We harmonise old with new, transport memories, and create new experiences for our guests. We protect and preserve what is close to our hearts – our homeland, our village, our craftmanship, our forests and villages, and our customs. It is precisely these strong roots that ultimately frees us to progress.
We are third-generation hosts and caretakers, and from the beginning, our top priority has always been the happiness of our guests. As a family business, now a charming hotel near Burgusio/Burgeis, we personally take care of our guests’ wishes with our hearts and dedication. The name Anigglhof comes from the Italian word for lamb – agnello. More than a hundred years ago, the lambs of the abbey of Marienberg in nearby Burgusio/Burgeis were taken care of here on the “Lammhof” (lamb farm).
The host-tradition of our family began with Marianna Adam. She recognised the unparalleled value of the Anigglhof, situated at the end of the valley in Slingia/Schlinig at1,750 metres. Marianna Adam first leased the Anigglhof and later acquired it from her siblings. She married Josef Patscheider in 1936. They raised seven daughters and four sons and had a happy marriage for more than half a century.
In 1969, Josef and Marianna’s son, Siegfried Patscheider, married Josefa Kofler from Funes/Villnößtal. They raised five daughters and one son, all the while running the Anigglhof. Year after year, Siegfried and Josefa renovated the Anigglhof and expanded the farm with great passion and dedication. They even created a small in-house power plant to generate electricity.
In 2011, the Anigglhof daughter Helga Patscheider along with her husband, Helmut Eberhöfer, and son, Jannik, were entrusted with the hotel. We are now the third generation offering hospitality with love, passion, and tradition. The most recent change came in the autumn of 2015: in just a few months, we expanded the Hotel Anigglhof by 15 rooms and added a very cosy sauna area.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our hotel – your holiday home away from home!
It has always been clear to me that one day I would like to take over my parents’ hotel business. Together with my husband, Helly, and son, Jannik, I would like to welcome you to Slingia/Schlinig.
